I figured that since I celebrated my birthday with my family, it would be nice to celebrate it with my friends as well... Thus...

Birthday Event part 2 (19 nov)

Well, I decided to treat my close friends at Carry On Restaurant. Unfortunately, not many can make it as they are either busy or not in Melaka... Nevermind, at least there's five of us...

Carry On Restaurant located at Melaka Raya is famous for non other than...


Steamboat !!

The restaurant charges RM9.00 for children and RM17.80 for adults. I would recommend it as the food is not only good, but the price is reasonable. Worth it!

Steamboat is a DIY cooking, and all u can eat buffet! U can either boil the ingredients in a choice of Tom Yam or plain soup...or fry them at the side. Hmm....Steamboat...


Definitely steamy...

They prepare for you a variety of cold ingredients at the counter, such as vegetables (button mushroom, shitake mushroom, cabbage...), tauhu, marinated chicken (black pepper, curry...) , beef (sliced, marinated), fish (bawal, fish ball, fish paste), sausage, wan tan, sui gao, bird's egg, and more (non-halal)


Caution! hot stuff.. I hoped Ashok burnt his tongue while he was on the phone, but it turned out to be Ong, the glutonious one.

A first time Carry On experience for 2 of my close friends, Ashok and Meng. It's good to know that they are enjoying themselves.
Don't waste your food, or they'll charge you RM10 per head for the leftovers...

We ate to our heart and belly's content from 8pm - 10pm and headed home afterwards. Ashok and Meng stayed over at my house that night and my birthday celebration part 2 officially ended with an overnight dota tournament till 5am with the two of them.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my friends for making my birthday this year a 'meaningful' one...
